Our Mission:

“The purpose of our society is not for the few of maximum strength and ambition to lead lives of Byzantine glory, but for men to make the most of their common humanity”.

We are pledged to a general diffusion of culture, of independence, and self-respect and the means to a good life.”   - Dr. Smith Boughton, alias “Big Thunder”.

During the Anti-Rent Wars in New York, some members of the gentry felt that land ownership and the governing of the citizens should be in the hands of the few who by wealth, education, and superior upbringing would be best suited to determine what was best for the common folks.

The Landowner Advocates of New York could not disagree more, and we serve to protect the private property rights of the landowners, to enable environmentally responsible development of their properties.

Join us in showing our legislators in Albany that landowners have rights too!

Your rights to the use of your property are being trampled on and losing a day’s work is nothing compared with the losses you may experience if you choose to do nothing.

We are providing FREE, COMFORTABLE,  bus transportation from a broad range of locations.
